    In my opinion, I feel that looks are not everything and should not be deemed utmost importance in our lives.

    I think that looks are not important as lots of people does not have good looking but succeed in his or her work. For example, Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz put in effort in his work and so he become an CEO.

    Personally, I feel that looks are subjective and is just an appearance. One's looks will deteriorate when they grow old.

    I disagree to this claim. Looks definitely doesn't mean everything, like what Mr Hsu has said. You may be good looking on the outside, but you may have not much of knowledge and maybe even a bad attitude or character on the inside. Having said that, the society would dislike you even if you have good looks.

    I disagree with the claim that looks are important. People usually judge people based on their physical appearance. By doing this, one will never know the other's attitude and character.

    I agree with Rachel. I also disagree that looks are important to be success. As I , myself think that there are others factors that leads to success rather than looks itself.

    I disagree with Tian Wen because as long as the individual has the wealth to continue Botox, keeping their youth wouldn't be much of a problem

    Anyway! I still feel that looks are not important. Its the hardwork, effort and ones ability to be able to prove themselves that their worthy of being hired. Although looks play some parts, if your a bimbo, it wouldn't really be successful right? Bimbo is someone with looks but no brain btw LOL

    In my opinion looks are not important to be successful... Being handsome or pretty does not mean anything, it is the talent, skills, moral values and experience that mostly allows you to be successful.
    For Example to my points... Famous pop star mostly have good attitude and sing well, which makes them the pop star they are today. So I think that looks not important. :)

    I agree with Rachel. Looks are not important to be successful. So what if you have looks ? It doesn't mean that can get you anywhere. Lots of people out there in the world does not have the looks yet they are successful. Add on, looks will deteriorate as people age. Even if you do not have the looks, you can go for plastic surgery.Thus, I feel that looks are external. It is just an outer covering. It is the inside that count.
    Furthermore, if one have got the talent, the talent itself can make one successful without the need of look.

    I agree with Xin Hui. Looks are not important to be successful. Other factors in contributing to be successful are important like being hardwork, determination and other facts.
